Nintendo gaming fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Mario Power
Tennis game for Gamecube. A lot of gaming fans are in love with
Nintendo's cast of characters that include Mario, Luigi, Princess
Toadstool, and all of the other funny critters dating all the way back
to the first Mario Brothers.
The highly anticipated Mario Power Tennis
for Gamecube is just the latest installation in a long and highly
successful Nintendo video game series. The series features a bunch of
fun loving Nintendo characters and interesting and exotic worlds.
Nintendo continues to produce wholesome video games like Mario Power Tennis in the midst of the first person shooters games that are dominating the video game market. Mario Power Tennis does not belong to the endless and monotonous string of shooting and war games that have been coming out ever since the original Castle Wolfenstein.
Parents also like this game because it does not have the same violent and potentially traumatic message that is found in most of the games on the video game market these days.This game does not involve killing enemies because it is a sports game where the goal is simply beating your opponents in competition.
Games like Mario Power Tennis and Mario Kart are lighter and much more fun than the anxiety filled war games that many gaming companies are producing these days. These video games are better written, have a better message and a more positive psychological effect than shooting video games.
Nintendo’s Mario Power Tennis game for Gamecube has also been criticized by some video game analysts. Analysts think that the game play in Mario Power Tennis is not good, and the graphics or look of the game should be more realistic. Well, I really don’t agree with both of these arguments. The game play is a matter of opinion.
I also think that the graphics of game is just great. I am not fond of the hyper-realistic games that are so popular today. I would be doing something else besides playing video games if I wanted reality.
